Few workouts in my coaching toolbox are standbys, but 6 x 200m before an upcoming race for the 800m is one of them.
I've commented about this session before in a previous WOTD post.
Nathan was a few days out before the final 800m of his 2017 season. So this seemed like a prudent and sensible session going into race day.
And like anything that works, it is best to heed the wisdom of the time proverb:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
