Context & Details

Centro performed this session shortly before starting the 1500m rounds of the 2016 Olympic Games. Eventually, he would go on to capture the gold medal in the final.

An impressive feat, but, then again, so too was this workout.  

My reaction when I first heard about this session was: "wow; unreal."

But, then again, so too was his gold medal performance in Rio.
