Do Not Cheapen The Chef D'œuvre
A body of work is an all-encompassing product. The influence of every part shapes the whole.
Repeatedly I've witnessed attempts to dissect and ascertain supposed core element(s) of impact, discovery of a secret extract, or identification of a shortcut. This is a dangerous and incomplete view of a masterpiece. It cheapens the chef d'œuvre.
Missing the mark, these mad scientists do not grasp the fundamental truth: it is the harmony and interplay between all things which births the consequence they seek to distill.
As seductive as the thought is, one's magnum opus cannot be artificially manufactured — rather, it only comes into being through organic methods.
Truly then, all that you do, is anything you do.
