High Performance West was founded in 2015 to develop national caliber track & field athletes based in Portland, Oregon, USA, into world class performers.
The new High Performance West (HPW) is no longer only a track & field club operating out of the Rose City. We've grown into something more expansive, exciting, & useful — and you're invited to join.
HPW is staying true to our roots and will continue to offer unparalleled development opportunities in athletics for athletes in PDX, as well as around the globe.
Now, in addition to athletes in track & field, HPW has evolved to welcome coaches, creatives, artists, teachers, therapists, executives, public servants, enthusiasts, and anyone who seeks useful information to help them perform at their highest level.
Over the next 60 days you'll be taken on a journey.
Every other day until the end of 2017 we will release a new, can't miss element about HPW at highperformancewest.com.
Sure, like everyone else, we could launch a fully functional website and social media campaign blitz all at once. But that is not the point. HPW is not like everyone else.
We recognize the world doesn't need more hype, noise, or junk. We've showed up to offer an alternative: a simple, clear, generous contribution designed to enrich your performance efforts.
High Performance is not a rush job. It is a steady, gradual, thoughtful process towards creating something of timeless Quality.
The desired effect of this slow, drip-by-drip roll out is to have you interact with something new from HPW for 5 minutes every other day.
We want you to show up. Be excited. Committed. Consistent. Creating a habit of purposeful engagement.
And starting on Jan. 1, 2018 the High Performance West website to be a fully accessible vibrant resource, updated daily, offering a sophisticated spectrum of information, inspiration, and practical direction related to pursuits of high performance.
We'll provide original content in the form of essays, podcasts, videos, opinions, interviews, and performance previews & recaps, and much more.
Trust us, if you're into High Performance you don't want miss a thing — sign up for HPW updates below.
Thank you | Jonathan Marcus, Steve Magness, & the new HPW community [11.1.2017]
